However, we are very sorry to hear of the issues you have had with it dripping, not keeping your coffee hot, and difficulty keeping it clean. While there is no heater under the carafe, the vacuum sealed thermal carafe is designed to maintain the temperature of your hot or cold liquids longer. Your coffee maker offers you precise temperature control and increasing your brewing temperature may be beneficial.
If the carafe is not firmly in place and pressing the drip stop on the bottom of the basket, then the brewing basket could potentially overflow or drip after brewing. Overflow can be impacted by the Brew Basket Filter, Coffee Grind, and Amount Used and we recommend using a medium-grind coffee to avoid overflow. You can also find helpful guidance on preparing for brewing on pages 8-10 of and helpful tips for cleaning and maintaining on pages 14-15 your Use and Care Manual.
