Makes a great cup of coffee. Worth the price. Favorite feature is the wi-fi remote start, use this feature every morning before getting out of bed.

The look of this coffee maker goes perfect with my kitchen!! I bought it without my husband knowing!! I had to have it!! I knew, when he found out he could make coffee from his phone he would over look my purchase!! It’s a pricey coffee maker.
I was willing to take it back if it didn’t make amazing coffee and also be user friendly.
We are over the moon in love with how the coffee taste and how easy it is to use this gorgeous machine!!!! Everyone who has coffee over at my house loves it!!!!!

For The Price- You Need to be Transparent

We bought this due to the features and design. But, upon further review and attempting to get more information about how the unit was constructed, we decided to return it. Other brands are very open about the materials they use, the lack of BPA or other items in the materials and are transparent about what comes into contact with water, coffee, etc. Cafe chooses not to be open or make any claims regarding this. From their own answers here, "we do not provide detailed information about what causes the Prop 65 warning to apply." and "...We do not provide specifics about the boiler (heater) material. The coil element material is considered company proprietary and is not listed/shared for the product specifications." and "...The water reservoir is ABS plastic. We don't make any claims for BPA free."
For the price, you can and need to do better. Completely unacceptable to have an expensive coffee maker not be open about what is being used. We would have kept it if the "right" materials were used and disclosed.

We comply with all federal, state and international requirements regarding hazardous substances and meet those standards. We also comply with federal and state chemical labeling laws, like California Proposition 65. The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe or poses a health risk. Over 800 chemicals are on this list, including wood dust, nickel (found in stainless steel), nicotine, and alcohol. Additionally, even inaccessible parts can cause the warning. I can understand your concern; however, we do not provide detailed information about what causes the Prop 65 warning to apply.

Lovely machine. Great Coffee - once setup right!..

This is a magnificent countertop appliance. You MUST fiddle with the strength and brew temp to find a setting that doesn't cause the coffee grounds to overflow in the basket... however, once you're over this hurdle, the end result is a very fine cup of coffee. On top of all this, it connects to Wi-Fi and you can turn it on from your bed!

High Quality!

I received this as a birthday gift from my children. From opening the box, to the operation of the appliance it self, there is a sense of high quality in everything about it. The only thing that kept it from a 5 star rating is that I wish it was a 12 cup pot like my last coffee pot, instead of a 10 cup. Otherwise I love it.
