Amazing cup of coffee

This coffee maker is beautiful, but, the cup of coffee is what matters most. This coffee maker delivers such a balanced and smooth cup in no time. Parts are easy to clean. Gold setting is perfect. Coffee stays hot in carafe. My only gripe is the carafe does keep about 1 oz. or less of coffee behind and you have to remove the top to pour the rest, but, that’s really minor. Also wish you could remove the water resorvoir. Brewing 4 cups takes 3 mins, super fast. Color of machine is more of a dark charcoal gray then a black. Super easy to wipe down and clean, doesn’t show streaks. Above all, I’m very impressed with coffee quality.

We bought all new Cafe appliances and waiting for them to come in. So when we saw there was a matching coffee maker, just HAD to get it! Great coffee, easy to clean and looks amazing Can't wait to get all our new Cafe appliances.

Great tasting coffee but machine keeps quitting

The machine is beautiful and the coffee it makes is a step above, it’s noticeably better than average drip coffee makers, I can change the temp and strength, the thermal caraf keeps the coffee hot for at least four hours.
The color and design of the machine are what attracted me to it, it has a high end look and the way that it sits under the cabinet is what I wanted.
Now to the bad part, this is the third coffee maker I’ve had, the first one quit after three months, the water just quit pulling through the maker to drip over the grinds. The second machine quit after four months the exact same way. We’re using the third machine currently so we shall see how long this one lasts.
This is a very expensive coffee maker which I didn’t mind paying for and the company has been very good about sending new ones but both times the machines have quit we’ve had to wait two weeks without a coffee maker which is very inconvenient because we are all day coffee drinkers.
So all in all, this coffee maker makes great coffee, it looks very good, it has added features that we actually use but I don’t think I would spend the money on it if I had to do it over again.
Let me add that it was a Christmas gift form our son in law and daughter and they were very excited to get it for us so their disappointment is also upsetting to us.
The whole experience has been annoying to say the least.
My hope is that Café has made the corrections needed to this coffee maker so that it will work for a long time. I’ve had very inexpensive coffee makes work for years with no issues and this maker is the cost of 6-8 cheapies.

Excellent Quality, but for a hefty price

First thing's first, this is a supremely well built and well thought out coffee maker. Particularly for people that live in higher elevations because you can choose your brewing temperature down to the degree. Very nice feature.
Other than that one particular feature, the coffee maker operates like any other drip coffee maker. Varying degrees of brew style, auto brew, and wifi connectivity are all things I've seen on other coffeemakers. However, I have not seen coffeemakers that fit into a space and are lovely to look at and interact with. the tactility and aesthetics of this coffee maker are unmatched in this category of appliances, which, to me, is the main reason that one should get this coffee maker. I proudly display my café coffeemaker on my countertop.
