Buyer Beware

My maker died after 2 months of use (no heat and it won't brew). GE is refusing to honor their warranty. It took writing a bad review here to get someone to contact me. Interestingly the original review is gone.
They are flat out refusing to fix this because I don't have a receipt because it was a holiday gift, despite that I registered my coffee maker with them upon receipt. Theses coffee makers are defective, but at least the blue tooth still works ... Go with another brand. The other high end coffee makers support your appliance as long as you registered it.

Good Coffee, Cheap Carafe

I've had this coffee maker for a little over 2 years. It still makes great coffee, but the carafe is falling apart. The finish on the handle is bubbling on the top and corroding on the underside. I'm sure the handle is going to detach like so many other reviews have mentioned. There also a good amount of water trapped somewhere in the walls of the carafe, likely getting in through the corroding handle. I've tried to purchase a replacement carafe, but the thing is always sold out, likely because nearly everyone that bought this machine early on is now experiencing the same.

Good coffee, poor design, difficult to clean

Makes a good pot of coffee, but it’s a pain in the butt to clean! Every day I have to deal with trying to get coffee grounds off the lid and the filter area.
Bought it because it claims to Have less plastic than most coffee makers, but the filter area is still plastic So I’m still dealing with plastic getting hot

Perfect cup of coffee

I love this coffee maker! It brews delicious cups of coffee in very little time . It looks beautiful with my other cafe appliances, all of which are perfect! My only recommendation would be to brew 12 cups instead of 10.

Beautiful but not to the standards

My wife and I bought this coffee pot for the sleek design and it matched all our other GE Cafe’ appliances. The design is amazing. However the thing we don’t care for is the coffee does not stay hot for long in the “thermal” container. If we would have k own this we would not have spent the high price for the unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
