Not what I expected

This product I have had for around 1 year (maybe less). This product does not keep the coffee hot for more than maybe an hour, there is what appears to be corrosion around the handle. This is a very expensive product to have these issues so early on in the life of this product. I would never use this product again, save yourself money and bout a regular drip coffee pot with a heating plate and no shine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We can certainly understand how disappointing this can be and would love to be of guidance moving forward.
Please note that this model does not have warming plate for the carafe. The thermal carafe retains the heat of the coffee for a minimum of 1 hour after brewing. This coffee maker is regulated for temperatures between 185 and 205° F. It is recommended to brew between 195 to 205° F.
The glass carafe models (C7CDABS2RS3 / C7CDABS3RD3 /
C7CDABS4RW3) have the warming plate which allows the warming plate to stay on for 2 hours after the brew cycle ends.

The best coffee machine!

MAKES FOR EASY MORNINGS

I love this coffee maker. I used to only do pour over, but it was so time consuming on days when my shift starts at 7am. Its easy to preset, has lots of different functions and works for my boyfriend who likes to make his coffee later in the day, at a different temperature and lighter. You can also program it from your phone which is really convenient. Lots of nice features, makes it easy for when your a nurse and need lots of coffee all the time. You can brew a big pot of little. Decent coffee too, similar to pour over.

I’m not going to lie, I purchased this coffee maker for its looks. I love the matte white with the rose gold accents and it looks great on my counter. I really wasn’t expecting it to make a great cup
Of coffee but it does! I also love the Wi-Fi feature as I can start brewing coffee from my bedroom. Overall a great product!

Awful screeching noise in <5 months

I bought this in late September and it worked perfectly then. Very quiet, could only hear a very faint hum when it was brewing, and the wifi capability and scheduling was very convenient for me. It is now February of the next year and for some odd reason, the past 2 weeks it has been making a really loud and unpleasant screeching noise during brewing. I tried descaling and unplugging it for 3 mins (like this other reviewer was told) and nothing helped. It's not like I overuse it or anything, I only make a mug or 1.5 mugs a day. I think this unit is beautifully designed with good features but if it's going to be like this then maybe you are better off buying something else. Especially because it is not cheap.
Other things: the coffee that comes out of this is good. I don't think it is winning any awards anytime soon. It is limited intrinsically by the design of the showerhead. I have a pourover at home and if I had enough time most days to make something truly awe-inspiring I would have. Alas, I bought this for a reason -- a good pourover with freshly ground beans is going to be a 8-10/10 maybe, this is getting you towards a 7. It's definitely not NASTY or burnt. Just a bit less aromatic and nuanced than something at a 3rd wave coffee shop, but duh. But consider that this convenience is a 9/10 (I suppose you do have to fill the basket yourself...), vs. doing a pourover is a 5-6/10. Honestly, if it weren't for the mechanical issues I mentioned above I would be recommending this left and right.
If you are thinking of buying this for the features, and are okay with this possible risk, go for it. It has a 1 year warranty that I am currently trying to see if customer service is going to honor.

Beautiful but not without flaws

I love the design and the finish on this but not having a removable water tank is not convenient. Also when you flip up the lid to get to the filter it drips all down the side of the machine.
