Easy to use and setup , no hot plate base to worry about, coffee pot keeps coffee for 2 hours. Purchased Matte White, perfect but note to Ge Cafe if you offer a Matte White, how about a white cord? So it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb in your white kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love the look

We love the look of the coffee maker! It completes our kitchen. The only thing I would change is the cord color. On our machine it is black, the toaster is white and blends in. I would have preferred the cord be white. Other than that it has been great!

Looks good, and makes good coffee

We mostly like the Café Appliances for the value, features, and design so when our coffee maker of nearly 20 years died one morning, this was our chance to try the smart coffee maker. Easy set up and it paired easily to our WiFi. Once we understood that the included coffee scoop equaled two cups, and the gold tone filter prevented less mess for multiple servings than paper filters, this coffee maker makes pretty darn good coffee. However, we didn’t realize that a keep warm base was not included, and the thermal carafe really only keeps the coffee hot for 45 mins. to an hour, so we resolved that by buying cheap Mr. Coffee mug warmers. If we really want more coffee made throughout the day, this coffee maker works like a hybrid Keurig in that you can brew as few or as many cups as want as long as there is adequate water in the tank and you refill with a new paper filter with new coffee grinds.

Why does it not stay hot on “auto brew”

It says it stays hot for 2 hours after timer but it doesn’t? How is this issue fixed ?

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review on your coffeemaker. Sorry to hear that your coffee isn't remaining hot for very long. We can understand how that'd be frustrating.
We did want to say that there is no heater under the thermal carafe. The coffee stays hot due to the vacuum seal of this carafe. This type of carafe retains the heat of the coffee for a minimum of 1 hour after brewing.
If your coffee's not hot enough or doesn't match the temperature setting, we wanted to add that the temperature setting is based on the temperature of the water when they contact the coffee grounds. The temperature will be lower in the carafe at the end of the brew. Because of this, checking the temperature with a thermometer is not an accurate way to verify temperature.
We do hope this is helpful. Know that we're always here should you have questions or concerns.

I’ve only used it once but the set up was great and user friendly. I have mine set at the Gold setting and it’s phenomenal coffee!
