Exceptional.. Second to None!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL 950X Quantum Wireless Headset is the new flagship in gaming and game communications. This multi-platform beast delivers reliable performance, prolonged comfort, and the synonymous JBL booming cinematic sound we have come to expect and enjoy.
The second-to-none sound is produced through new 50mm carbon dynamic drivers that deliver high-res audio with low distortion. The drivers also deliver an enhanced high-frequency experience that other headsets can not deliver so as to not miss a reload, footstep, or positional shift. Powered by the all new JBL Quantum Engine, the 950X incorporates Quantum Spatial Sound, 3D Head Tracking, and Adaptive Noise Canceling to keep players focused and competitive.
Communication is vital in gaming, and JBL simply does it best. The 6mm detachable boom with AI noise reduction provides a crystal clear sound experience isolating gamers' voice from any background noises to plot strategies and next moves.
All cables, as well as headset, light up RGB charging hub, and 2 battery packs, are included. One of the best features of the 950X is the hot swappable battery system that guarantees uninterrupted performance for those long gaming sessions.
JBL has stopped at nothing to provide the best gaming and streaming experience possible with the 950X. Sound is phenomenal, as with all JBL products. In a sea of available headsets, there is less expensive, and then there is JBL... you get what you pay for!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Quantum 950x is awesome! The sound quality is great, battery life has been very good, and it's very comfortable! The noise cancelling works very well, and it's very simple to switch between noise cancelling and audio modes. It was very easy to set up, and the base station is super sleek! Being able to change the lighting mode on it is a fun touch. The spatial awareness modes are also very nice to switch between, and makes a huge difference with certain games, it feels very immersive. All in all, it's a great headset, easy to use and set up, and super comfortable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL Quantum 950X has a sturdy build. They fit really snug over the ears and head. Which makes the noise canceling on pont. Can't hear anything outside of the headset. The adjustment to the headset is very minimal. At first, I felt that the sound was very low until I connected it to the Jbl Quantum Engine app. Which allows you to adjust the sound with the preset equalizer, or you can customize it to your liking. The 950X is geared towards the Xbox, but I didn't see any difference between it or the PS5. Except it came with an Xbox Ultimate Pass for 12 months. New subscribers only. The base charging station/connection hub is kind of clunky compared to the small dungle that was used with other JBL headsets. With that being said, I like that it comes with 2 batteries that you can switch out when needed. I like the detachable mic. I can use the headset to listen to music and not have to deal with the mic attached to the headset.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] QuantumENGINE. If you are a gamer, then this is a must-have headset; with all the customizations and setups, it takes the gaming audio experience to the next level. All settings are done in the JBL QuantumENGINE PC app, but you still have physical buttons that you can control basic stuff with, such as power, volume, active noise cancellation, chat audio, mute, and spatial sound. You can calibrate many things such as the sound, head tracking, and the equalizer (the equalizer has presets for MOBA, FPS, etc.); you can also adjust the RGB backlighting of the base and update the firmware of the headset. You will find pretty neat customization options in the app, including setting your own profile to keep saved settings such as mic volume, head tracking, and volume.
The headband. The headset has a hammock headband in the form of a mesh that evenly distributes weight across the head. The ear cups are made of memory foam covered with synthetic leather; they feel pretty comfortable and premium.
Communication. It comes with a 6mm microphone, and it is removable, which is amazing because there are times that I don’t need the mic there, like, for example, when I’m watching a movie or listening to music. The active noise cancellation does a very good job of keeping away the background noises from my ears, and in case you need to communicate with someone nearby, there is an option called "TalkThrough" with the press of a physical button that allows you to hear and communicate with a person near you while still lightly hearing the voices and sounds coming from the headset. Call quality is great too, no issues and no complaints; people can hear me loud and clear, and so can I.
Replaceable parts. I like how the headset has so many replaceable components, including the mic, batteries, cables, cushions, and hammock; almost everything is replaceable. Sometimes you break the mic, and you are forced to replace the whole headset; replaceable parts fix these types of issues, they are pretty convenient. I hate that over time, the battery of a rechargeable headset degrades to the point that it almost doesn't hold any charge at all, and it is difficult to find a place that replaces the internal battery, and if you find one, that’s pretty expensive. Well, with the JBL Quantum 950X, that’s not a problem anymore; it comes with two rechargeable batteries that last more than a day, and you can charge one of the batteries while the other one is in use. In that way, you will never run out of juice.
Swappable batteries and receiver. The JBL Quantum 950X has one of the coolest things I have seen in a headset: swappable batteries and a wireless base station that serves as a low-latency receiver and audio customization; you just attach the receiver to your PC or console to get the low-latency audio. It looks very cool on your desk or table because of the customizable RGB lights. Once your headphones run out of power, you simply remove the battery and insert the charged one from the base. The removal of the panel is easy, and the battery won’t fall down no matter how much you shake your head. According to the manual, the receiver has multi-platform compatibility across PC, console, and mobile via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and wired connections. I tested it on my PC and my Nintendo Switch 2. It worked flawlessly. The only hiccup I experienced on PC was that I had to manually switch the audio from the headset to the monitor, and that’s because I have a home theater system also configured to my monitor and PC, so sometimes the gaming monitor doesn’t know where the output audio should be going unless you manually select it from the system tray in Windows.
Sound. It really sounds amazing. Listening to game audio or a movie where things happen around you or hearing the sounds changing as you turn your head is pretty impressive; it feels magical. The headphones use sensors to track your head movements and adjust the sound field in real time. If a loud sound such as an explosion occurs behind you while gaming and you turn your head to the right, the sound will move directly in front of you. There have been times that this feature makes me feel like I’m inside of the game or movie. If you like horror games, then get ready to get really scared. Listening to music is great too; the bass is pretty powerful, and the sounds are very crispy and clear.
Summary. The new JBL Quantum 950X offers an excellent build for every type of gamer and movie lover. The headphones are truly amazing, and I think they are revolutionary. The materials used in this headset feel premium and sturdy but still lightweight; you don’t get strained after long use. The replaceable parts solve many issues that other wireless headsets have, especially with the swappable batteries; you will be living long with a high-quality headset.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL quantum has honestly taking my gaming experience to another lever. The sound is so immersive that it feels like you’ve been dropped straight into the game every explosion, footstep, and soundtrack moment hits hard and sounds crystal clear. The battery life is a huge win too. I can game for hours without worrying about charging and the extra battery is a lifesaver for marathon sessions, Swapping batteries, and jumping right back into the action feels super convenient. On top of that, the headset feels premium, packed with great features and delivers amazing overall quality! Out of all the quantum headsets i’ve owned, these easily stand out as one of the best. If you want a headset that makes gaming feel cinematic and keeps up with long sessions, this is definitely it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The finish and quality of the headset is really nice I feel like the quality of their products has gone up lately. It has metal bars going through the headset that make me feel like it will never break. The sound quality is amazing the bass and treble are always nice. The microphone never give me any issues and sounds crystal clear for others. All in all great bang for your buck. Almost forgot the extra battery that charges in the base is a game changer never having to plug the headset in. You can just swap the batteries out when it dies.
