[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Black and Decker - Allure Steam Iron is a must have! In love with the beveled tip! I can iron around buttons, stubborn collars and cuffs. Steam, steam everywhere! Not digital like the other but just as good with the rotary style control. Love the feel of the handle and the bottom sole plate glides over material, easy!

The steam holes leave me in control of how much steam I need! This is great when you only need a little or even better when you need a whole of steam!! This is my new favorite toy to make my clothes look brand new!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the black and decker Allure steam iron in return of an honest review. Its been a really long time since I had ironed, so I had to practice a bit to get the ahng of it again! LOL. It works amazing! Using this steam iron was so easy. It was almost as if it moved so smoothly on clothes, that it guided me where I needed to iron. It is a bit heavy, which I have learned is necessary because it makes the iron stable to move around on clothing. It provides the perfect amount of steam, without using too much or too little. Overall, I love it! I will save so much money now that I have a good steam iron because I won't take my clothes and pay to have them ironed! I highly recommend!

Why cover the plate with plastic?!?!??!?!?!?

First time plugging it in and iron might already be ruined because someone had the brilliant idea of putting a plastic sticker on the plate. I’d never seen this before or had to read instructions on how to use an iron.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
