[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] received my new black and decker steam iron last week.LOVE IT!!! i hate to iron, like really hate to iron!i gotta say this actually made the task almost enjoyable! its light weight,and very easy to handle. had a somewhat difficult dress to iron for a wedding and it came out perfect!!

Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron has features on it that my old iron does not. The water tank is larger so you don't have to keep refilling after a few pieces, variable steam dial lets you set it for the right fabric, it's nice and steady when on the heel rest ( other iron would fall over), 3-way auto shut off is great for safety and the pivoting cord never gets in the way. I really like this iron.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This one heats up and is ready to go quick! I've only used this one and my old one, so my iron comparisons are pretty limited, but this one is definitely awesome. :)

My free Black & Decker Allure Steam Iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the free Black & Decker Allure Steam Iron from the Spectrum Brands First Look Community, totally free for testing the Iron at home and provide my honest reviews in exchange for the free product.
After using the Steam Iron I knew that I am using a great iron which can easily remove even the deepest wrinkles in my garments. The iron is very easy to use, as it has so simple operation that even a person who have never used an Iron before can easily operate it. The burst of steam and spray mist helped me erase even the deepest wrinkles in my garments, and my garments started looking like new in minutes.
The three-way auto shut-off feature in the iron automatically stopped heating the iron when I left it inactive. This feature helped me a lot from burning my garments as well.
The separate steam and temperature controls helped me with a variety of my garment care needs. I could iron any garment with any material so easily because of these features in the Iron. Also the stainless steel soleplate glided over all fabrics very smoothly.
After receiving this product I have been using this iron a lot with such ease. I know for sure I will be using this iron a lot more in future.
Thank You Spectrum Brands First Look Community for offering me to test the Allure Steam Iron. The steam and the spray mist helps me a lot to smooth out all the wrinkles in my garments, daily.
