The K1700 is great for LIGHT duty, as its not built for heavy duty applications. I needed a light duty machine for general cleaning & car washing. Using my 4000psi machine is too much for light jobs, even when throttling the engine down to an idle. I haven't had an issue with the wand or hose & if I do, they are easily replaceable; available from a well known tool supplier (no, not that freight place but the North place). The hose & gun are fitted w/M22 fittings and replacement/additional are widely available. I've used my 50ft hose w/o problems. Haven't tried the 100ft but I'm sure it'll work just fine. M22 couplers are also an option, it mates two hoses together for even added distance w/o having to buy an expensive 100ft hose. On a side note (an example of durability), I have a Karcher 2400psi gun that I've had for over 15yrs that I use on my 4000psi machine and it handles the pressure w/o issues. I've worn out many nozzles on that gun, so I would say the gun is close to being bullet-proof. The Karcher machine that it went to died (the pump froze one winter), so I rebuilt the cart into a CAT4000psi, 20hp Honda gas powered beast.

Easy to use, and lightweight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little power washer is great for the price. Perfect for little around the house projects. Super easy to assemble. It took maybe 3 minutes to put the wheels, handle, and hose assembly on. It's fairly quiet too compared to others I've used in the past. Great for them small do it yourself jobs like cleaning sidewalks, decks, and even siding! It's Also small enough for easy storage and lightweight!

But my house has been in dire need of a good pressure washing, so I had to jump at this offer. For the most part, this was somewhat easy to put together without using any directions but thankfully there are some pretty extensive directions included. It was pretty difficult to get the pusher/handle part on, I actually even cut up my hands trying to force it on. I had to ask a delivery driver who just happened to show up at that moment to help me get it on, and even he had trouble! I don’t know if they’re typically like that, or if mine was just a bit warped or something. So far it has either been overwhelmingly hot out or pouring rain, so I’ve only been able to test this machine out briefly. I tested this out on the side of my house, and it’s actually pretty easy to use once you figure it out. It’s SO satisfying watching the dirt just splash away off of the side of my house. I have never used a pressure washer before, and I wish I didn’t wait. The pressure on this is impressive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Karcher K1700 Electric Pressure Washer 1700 PSI TruPressure works great if you take your time. You have to wash your vehicle at a slow pace if, like us, you have built up dust and mud from driving on a gravel road daily. I used the soap tip first (obviously) and it puts out a lot of soap all at once so I had to quickly soap the entire car before my soap ran out.
Next I tried the spray tip. It really doesn’t have a very wide spray pattern so you have to get the nozzle very close to your vehicle to get off any dried-on dirt.
The turbo nozzle, to me, doesn’t have any extra pressure or spray velocity than the yellow spray tip. It does its job to getting dirt and build-up off the hood, but we ended up switching back to the yellow spray tip to wash the entirety of the car.
I like that the Karcher K1700 Electric Pressure Washer 1700 PSI TruPressure has wheels, making it easy to move and maneuver as I wash my vehicle. As for the noise level, it’s not overly loud, but it’s definitely not quite either.
I would recommend this pressure washer, even if you have to go slow to ensure an even and complete wash.

Easy Setup! Powerful Washing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was blown away by the ease of assembly of this power washer. Literally ready to spray in less than 5 minutes. It has more than adequate psi for common around the house cleaning projects. The included turbo nozzle made quick work of our dirty driveway! The on/off foot switch is one of my favorite features. It is lightweight and powerful and has definitely made cleaning tasks less mundane! Would highly recommend!
