Short lived

Worked for 15 minutes then it stopped spinning. It self-destructed. The Electric 1700PSI 1.2 GPM Karcher pressure washer works great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This attachment is awesome. Cuts my cleaning time in half. I have a 4 car drive way, and use to take me all day to clean it. Now it takes 2 hrs tops..yhats a big differents, LOVE I T!!

11" surface cleaner broke on first use

We bought the pressure washer several months ago, used first time yesterday to wash our patio and driveway. The fitting for the hose was put together incorrectly by the factory and leaked badly. Once we got that solved and reassembled correctly, the 11" surface cleaner worked wonderfully for about an hour and then the plastic tube that spins the nozzles cracked and the accessory was useless. Finished the job with the turbo nozzle which works fine but takes soooo much longer. The pressure washer is great so far (having only used it once, hope it lasts longer than the surface cleaner accessory did). Although a longer wand would make it easier on the back to use, I recommend the pressure washer but our experience matches the majority of the other reviews--there is a manufacturer defect with the accessory. Unfortunately for us it is well beyond the 90-day warranty period for that part but seems Karcher could replace it for everyone whose broke on the first use. Sorry to see we can't even get the replacement part as it shows Out of Stock but maybe they are all bad anyway so not worth the cost to replace it?

Use the surface cleaner and before I could complete the cleaning of my concrete drive way the spray arm gets a hair line crack and stops spinning .

Works great but one of the two nozzles broke

Surface cleaner worked great, but one of the nozzles broke after 3 hours of use. This isn't the problem. The problem is that it is very difficult buying replacement nozzles. I may have to return a perfectly good cleaner because I can't get a replacement 10 cent part.

Excellent choice for the price

I bought this over 3 years ago with the K1800. I have had nothing but great results. I was very surprised at how well it cleans concrete and siding. I just replaced one O-ring, it was starting to leak around the water inlet.

Works better than expected but hard to find nozzles for. I damaged the spray nozzles under the unit and can't find replacements. I don't want to buy another Karcher Surface Cleaner unless there are spare parts available. I may have to go with a different brand now.
I would recommend this to a friend!
