Great upgrade from older models!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from the S23 Ultra, and the S26 Ultra has been a noticeable upgrade. I use the phone casually daily, playing games, streaming audiobooks and music, and social media.
So far, the battery life has held up to my daily use. I'm a regular concert goer, and I'm interested to see how the camera and battery perform in that scenario.
Galaxy AI has been integrated into many aspects of the phone, but I don't feel they are necessary, and I ignore and disable them when I am able. I was also thrown by the forced use of Google messages as the SMS default app, but I have gotten used to that!
The S26 Ultra is a solid phone. I think the most unique feature is the built in privacy screen. I never felt the need for a privacy screen protector in the past, but I have the built in screen enabled for my banking apps now, and it's nice to have.

Text message sucks & no SD card slots anymore

I was unaware that the text message app would not be the same as in the past. The Google text messag I don't like and going back to the Samsung text message and that has ads. Also there is no slot for an internal SD card so I just didn't research assuming major changes like that were no longer available. Returning my new phone.

It's a beautiful phone

Coming from the S22 Ultra to the s26 Ultra is like going from the Apollo missions to the Artemis mission. A true leap forward.

Strong and fast premium experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The galaxy s26 ultra is a strong phone I'll probably be using for at least the next five years. The galaxy ai is pretty helpful with helping me use all of the phones many features and for looking things up instantly.
All the apps I use (games, youtube, work apps) run incredibly smoothly. Even the biggest games i download run at an easy 60 frames.
I use my phone everyday for work and have never ended a day below 50% battery despite constant use playing music. Im especially a fan of how many screen options I have for when I want a fast, beautiful image or maximize battery life for when I can't charge my phone for an extended period. The privacy display is also pretty nice to have for scrolling videos while on break.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Galaxy S26 ultra is the best phone I've ever owned lots of storage lightning fast sleek design the camera is amazing I love this phone i will own it for a very long time this is my second ultra S26 and hopefully it will stand the test of time im pretty rough on my phone is work in a fast paced production facility and sometimes I drop it off my lap while I'm on the forklift that's why I'm so happy to use the otter box case to keep it safe the pen included makes great time while filling out forms and just doodling id highly recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for a phone of a lifetime..you will definitely be in love with your purchase

Disappointed in the camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am honestly disappointed with my galaxy S26 Ultra. I had the S23 Ultra and the that camera is amazing. This camera is basically going backwards. They replaced the actual zoom with Galaxy AI zoom and it took away the quality of the image making it look sepaninstead of have actual color to the image. It also is less clear and crisp when taking photos in general. I took the exact same photo and the s23 won out by a long shot. I loved that I could remove something from the image in the past on my own but now there is only one Galaxy AI option and then it adds ai to your photo automatically watermarking it. The privacy screen is cool but the only thing really going for this phone. For the extra price I am honestly super disappointed.

LOVE the S26 Ultra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE my new S26 Ultra. I use my phone fairly rigorously all day, and the battery just never quits! I am a contractor so I am constantly streaming music, using GPS, and going in/out of various apps. I charge my phone overnight and I don't think it's EVER been under 20% since I bought it! I am not HUGE in to using the Galaxy AI features, but I have played around with some of the photo editing, call screening, and battery management features.
