Pretty cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used it once so far and still figuring out the best ways for me but it is awesome. The height and width of the Lazer is perfect for anything I'd be using it for. I love the Dewalt case it came in, seems durable. I like how compact it is. The only thing I do not like and reason for 4 stars is it does not come with printed user instructions or even a QR code but instead need to visit a website that takes you to another site to download a PDF.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the dewalt dw088cg green laser a couple of weeks ago. I've used it to install 2 kitchens so far. It is brighter and definitely easier to see than its brother, especially in lighter conditions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first project I was able to use this on was to install shiplap in my basement. It worked extremely well and helped me carry straight lines for a total run of 30 feet. It was very easy to use and set up. The lines are extremely easy to see and the accuracy is great. This is a product that you don’t think you’ll need or use until you actually use it. I didn’t have to mark lines on the wall, use a level or chalk line. So much easier and plan on using it for a few upcoming tile projects to get everything exactly where it needs to go. Love this tool.

Bright/easy to see

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit comes in a sturdy case. The case also has a place to store the 3 AA batteries (included) separately which I like since batteries may leak and ruin the tool. The laser emits a bright green line, either vertical or horizontal or both. The green is significantly brighter and easier to see than the red lasers especially in brighter surroundings. Nice for setting tile on a wall. The horizontal beam extends approximately 180 degrees around the front of the tool or basically half the room. More expensive lasers will give you a 360 degree beam. The vertical line will extend to some degree on to the floor from the wall being marked and to just past overhead from the position of the tool. I also tried the laser outdoors as dusk was approaching. It was still daylight and the green beam could easily be seen on my wood fence which was 40 to 50 feet away. If that's not enough you still have the DeWalt reputation to back it up with a 3 year warranty and 90 day money back guarantee.

Great little laser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect little laser to have on the truck for whatever you may run into. Easily visible, though I was working inside a warehouse. Battery life seems kind of short, but I maybe expecting too much. It has lasted a full work day and a couple hours more. Low battery indicator has been flashing but no diminishing effects so far. Magnet in the base is really strong and the case it came in is protective but not overly large. Looks to me to be a perfect laser to have around for when you need it.

Nice little laser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little laser is a nice rig. It's easy to use, it's not big and bulky. It comes with a nice case to keep it safe. Uses regular batteries, so it's easy to have spare to grab some spares on the way to the job.

Nice Laser, some interesting choices

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this laser and used it almost immediately to hang a bunch of interior doors.
Before opening it, I loved the hardshell box that it came in, and I liked the fact that it comes with batteries and a spot molded into the case to hold extra batteries.
Right off the bat, I was confused as to why it came with a magnetic mount, but after looking at the packaging and paperwork, it seems like this laser is tailored to hanging drop ceilings. I like the fact that it is compatible with tripods of other brands, as I have a Bosch tripod that can be used with it.
The fact that you can have just horizontal, just vertical, or both lines is really nice. I wish there was a way to lock the hanging laser mechanism inside so it doesn't rattle around in the case.
Pros: Nice laser, easy to use, quality case, and good, simple functions, bright beams.
Cons: Not having a mount that can hook to a 2x, not having any space in the case to put a tripod mounting plate, the laser mechanism doesn't have the option to lock into place, the beam is much brighter above the plane of the actual laser than below it, so you'd almost always have to put it on the floor to do a task like hanging doors.
