Not a fan

over night the unit updated its software , and it now powers off by itself and only way to turn machine back on after update is to unplug and replug it back in every time I wanna use it ..Smart I think Not ,, more like dumb.. Also Zero information no instructions have no idea how to turn on the machine normally RUN AWAY PEOPLE>>> .. So un happy unable to return this broken machine .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not so SMART details

To utilize the “SMART” feature, one must enable notifications and use K-cups manufactured by companies affiliated with Keurig.
No and no- I don’t want notifications from any company. I don’t want to waste even milliseconds glancing at or clearing them. I also get my K-cups from a small business and have no interest in changing that just so I can start brewing coffee from another room.
Haven’t we been down this road before when the 2.0 machines would only work with certain K-cups? I don’t recall it working out that well the first time.
Since I have to give at least one star, I’ll give it to the frother. It works very well, for now. The soft covering over the buttons to make selections won’t last long. Hopefully it will continue to work once that fails.
Finally, the machine won’t brew and operate the frother simultaneously. My advice; start the frother first, then load a K-cup. It will start brewing once frothing is complete, but the frother won’t operate automatically once brewing is complete.
Will probably buy a French press in 18 months when this machine fails (and they always do). I could use the counter space.

Frother broke after one use

I setup my unit yesterday and made my first Latte. It was an excellent cup of coffee! I then cleaned the frother.. Today the frother will not power up. I called support and they are shipping a replacement frother. Very disappointed this unit is offline after one use.

Frother defective

I ordered this coffee maker and on the first day I set it up te frother ran continuously on its own. I could not get it to shut off. Ran until I unplugged it. I contacted tect support and no one could figure it out. Very expensive product to be defective when brand new. Very disappointing

Better Get Up Early

Frother stops working

The frother stopped working on its own in less than a month. Unfortunately, I accidentally dropped the frother subsequently and the lid broke and so this will be ineligible for a return either.
