The frother is honestly disappointing and does not work the best. The rest of the machine is pretty great, but I purchased this model for the frother feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I also have a K-Supreme Plus® SMART Single Serve Coffee Maker that we put in our RV when I bought this one and it isn't quite as good.

My old Kuerig still worked after 10 years, but only worked for 8 ounces. The K-Caf Smart works so great, I can’t believe the difference, in taste, quality, and options.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The "smart" recognition can take up to 30 seconds to register. So if you just want to pop in a K cup and brew, you have to wait for it to recognize. It will also not recognize off-brand K cups- like Kroeger, etc. Also note that the brewer is about 3/4th inch taller when open that it notes on the website. So if you have it in a pantry, take this into account to see if it will open all of the way. The frother is OK. I thought I would use it much more than I actually did. Its unnecessary for me.
