Absolutely love the razr +, it's by far the best. This is my third Razr, well 4th technically if I include my original Razr from back in the good 'ol days.
There is only one feature I dislike about the design, and that is the power button being right below the volume control. It's very annoying to hit that button accidentally when I'm trying to adjust the volume.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You've tried the rest, now try the best

I've had this phone since release and I'm amazed how well it's held up.
Pros:
Outstanding camera quality. For the first time there's a device that extremely pockatable but also a very competitive camera. I've taken this camera on two trips and I'm in awe at results I've achieved.
Amazing battery : As I travel for work and leisure, I needed something that would last. This battery is phenomenal. From 6am to about 10pm, I'm still at about 45% battery with an average screen on time of 6 hours. Pair this with 67w charging, I've never had to worry about running out of juice
Gaming: This chip doesn't let up. It's perhaps the most efficient SOC on a foldable device. I experience no stutters or lag when playing heavy games like Blue Protocol or Genshin. The very nice thing is that while it does thermal throttle, either the chip or Moto software tunes it in a way you don't get degrading gaming experience. This also results in the phone not running too warm during the long gaming sessions.
Look and Feel: Moto nailed with material choices. It's very pleasant to hold and even better to look at. I can't tell you how many times I've has someone look at my phone as I go to pay and ask what kind of phone is that. The finishes add a very premium feel and in the course of ownership I have dropped the device (without a case) and the phone has held up very well albeit a few nicks and scratches.
Cons:
Software could better. One area I miss from another foldable device is the customization options. You're stuck with a lot of basic Android UI elements skinned with Moto-esque overlay. Unless you opt for a third party launcher, you aren't prevvy to all the various skins and font types. Also, let's get some live wallpaper or gif support on the cover screen.

Why didn't I move from iPhone sooner!

I moved from an iPhone to the Razr about 3 weeks ago. The phone is very fast - every app and web browser pages load instantaneously. It is a very well made phone. I look forward to many years using this phone. Have made extensive use of the external display.

Not reliable

I received this phone on August 19, 2025 and the screen turned white making it unusable on September 7, 2025. Have returned it now, doubt that I will trust it for a while when I get it back. Very disappointed. I have used only Motorola phones since 1992 bag phone. May have to find a new company to get phones from.

Exterior screen is a game changer

I have had dozens of phones and this is my third flip phone. I’ve also had a OnePlus foldable. Normally the flip phones I don’t love. This is the first one that I do love because of the excellent front facing screen. Being able to do most of my task on that front screen makes this phone enjoyable. I only open it when I really need to get into something. Plus, it is just super well built. My only complaint, and this is not a fault of the phone, is that there aren’t good cases for it. Either they fall off when the phone has folded, or they just interfere with the phones function and beauty.

Awesome phone

I bought this when it first came out and I love this phone. I play games on it and see little battery drain and no overheating at all. The cameras are perfect and the AI features are so useful.

USB 2.0 port kills this thing, not counting the weird proprietary-only fast charging and weak camera.

Perfection

I just switched from a Galaxy s23 ultra to the Razr 2025 and I couldn't be happier. Yes the s23 ultra may be a more powerful and more sought after phone but I'm not a gaymer nor do I need all that hardware. I was looking for a phone with a larger screen without the bulk and this phone nailed it. There was a huge learning curve switching to this phone. I haven't had a flip phone since the original Razr back in the 90's. It was my first cell phone. The small outside screen is is a masterpiece. The phone is light, fits in your pocket, The only issue is battery life. Hopefully it will be addressed with the next system update. Extremely happy!
