Highly skeptical, nothing works, as I live with legit medical needs. These are superior by far to any other product; Bose or competitor. The sound deadening is pretty good; again superb to any thing else. They are comfortable which is important.
For a comparison, I also have the Bose ear buds. Comfort and Battery trade off. I rotate between both types frequently for both reasons.
Noise canceling has been fantastic and they are overall the most comfortable headphones I've had in awhile. A bit of a learning curve figuring them out, but in pretty sure that's a me thing.
Bought my QCUltra a week or so ago because my Bose Earphones of 20+ years broke and was unrepairable (sadness). When I first received the new QCUltra headphones I was a wee bit upset because I was not used to the new, modern, options available. I called Bose, the lady I spoke with walked me through the setup (I hate reading directions-it's a male thing) and WOW... I LOVE my new QCUltra headphones. The sound is terrific. The battery (I guess it's a battery) holds a long, long charge. I use my QCUltra connected to my Bose speakers (wired) because neither my PC nor Speakers are equipped for Bluetooth (both are what I would call "pre-Bluetooth"). That's OK for now; but when I finally decide to get a new PC it will certainly be with Bluetooth. What more can I say? BOSE QCUltra headphones are the best.
Noise cancellation is second to none. I do wish the sound quality was a smidge better as far as just sounding crisper. I also wish they went a little louder. All my Bose products don’t seem to go as loud as JBL or other bigger brands. I do think they are a little overpriced but I do not regret buying them. I do think you can get equal or a little bit better sound quality for cheaper. However, They are fantastic. Very comfortable and look great as well.
