I'm having difficulty getting my printer to operate. It says there is a paper jam, but there isn't. When I open the top, there is thin plastic strip, attached on one end, I don't know what it is or what it's for.

Took over 2&1/2 hours to install. Very frustrating. Had trouble connecting to my wireless network. Don't like paper feeder ( not as easy to load as my old HP printer) Like that it prints both sides.
