failure of parts to 6 gal. water container.

purchased about two years ago and stored unit inside house until need. However, upon need found the cap cracked and O-ring brittle. Could not find out how to order replacement parts.

I lost the small cap to my 6 gallon jug. I contacted customer service on a Friday and within an hr, they had replied and said they'd replace it free of charge. A week later, I received a pair of replacement caps for my jug. I wasn't expecting such excellent after purchase support. Thanks!

So far so good! They shipped quickly and were not damaged. I filled them up and tossed them around a little to see if they will leak or leak from the cap if spilled or tipped. So far they are doing great and I've always been happy with Igloo products. There is obviously a plastic smell when you first open the box but it's not bad. Just rinse them out and leave them outside to air out a bit and they are fine.

Tall & easy to use

I have 3 of these and they work great. I have had 2 for about 2 years and bought a 3rd one a few months ago. No problems with the spout or the cap. There are 2 areas that can be improved. First, add a clear strip under running up the side of the spout with volume markings so you can see at a glance how much water remains and second, manufacture a spigot that can be used on this so you don't have to pour it into another container.

Caps are obviously a known problem

I bought 2 of these 6 gallon water jugs about 3 years ago. They have always been stored in my home garage. Both of the threaded caps cracked and broke within about 6 months. I finally decided to look for replacement caps but no luck so far. From all of the reviews, Igloo obviously knows about the problem but apparently doesn't care. Goodbye Igloo!

Replacement Parts? Not So Much...

Good container, but the cap split around the base and once it's broken, you cannot secure water in the container or use the spout. I don't need an entire container—just the cap. And I could find no replacement parts for this on the website.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not one problem

I’ve had my container over five years.not one problem. No lid cracking , no anything except slight leak on top from the cap. Just a dribble, no matter how hard the cap is tightened, still satisfied.
I would recommend this to a friend!
