Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this headlamp to use during nighttime mountain biking and skiing. This headlamp throws a nice array of light which can be focused to a spot light if desired. Rechargeable battery feature is great - even better that regular batteries can be used in a pinch. Super functional.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super Bright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never seen a headlamp this bright in my life very cool has 2 separate buttons one for emergency mode then the other one turns on the actual headlamp which is very bright if you keep clicking this button 2 more times it controls the brightness there's a knob around the headlamp itself that lets you either have a full beam for a room or you can zero in the beam to a particular object I'll plan on using mine when I'm working on my vehicles as it frees up your hands for other tasks I absolutely love this headlamp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up this headlamp to accompany me on my finishing trip down on the Texas coast. The area we fish is literally forty plus miles from civilization, and boy does it get dark at night on the surf.
The first thing I appreciated about this lamp was the sheer brightness. I was able to see bait lines more than 75-yards out in the pitch black. The ability to focus the beam is also critical. Awesome functionality.
It is also excellent to be able to use only the red lights to avoid blinding my fellow anglers. I would frequently adjust the beam focus, and power to fit my needs.
Best headlamp I've ever used. Awesome stuff.

Pretty good light while it lasted

I had this light for six months before it failed. While it worked, it was a pretty good light. It is Super Bright, lasts a Long Time even on High Beam, and the Re-charge feature has saved me Lots of $ on batteries, but it does have one BIG problem. The switch very difficult to use bare-handed, and nearly impossible to find with gloves on. I have used Coast products for 25+ years, and have been well pleased with their products and service. I have no doubt that they will repair or replace my light, but it will still be hard to find the switch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really loving this headlamp and wish I had it a long time ago. It’s very bright and comfortable when wearing. I use it for many things from grilling at night to riding bikes in the evening. Lights up the path really well!

Own Several Different - This is by Far the Best

I use an outboard boat to get to areas I fish & hunt on the coast & big coastal hardwood river swamps. Bought this 7 mos ago. This is by far the best of several headlamps I own. This will light up the world. Awesome!
(I think the battery cover one reviewer spoke of is well designed with a gasket to keep the water out & is easy to see how it operates.)

I received this in December 2018 as a gift. It is useful when maintaining the crawl space, easy to use. I have mild arthritis in my thumbs and am frustrated with inability to open the battery compartment. I like to remove batteries prior to storage. Other family members are also unable to open it. I would not get this type of product again.

Apocalyptic durability!

Bought this and have been using for six weeks. Just accidentally ran through a commercial washer and dryer and it still works fine. Decent battery life also.
