Great product overall. Quality build, great brightness, nice features. Only small drawback is with smaller size the button to turn on/select light features is harder to push (effectively) because of alignment with finger due to reduced size of switch area.

I bought this for waterfowl hunting and needed a good distance spotlight that was bright and went a good distance. So far very happy with this headlamp. It is lightweight and easy to use. Having the red and green is helpful in the early morning hours when trying not to mess up ability to see at night. Having the rechargeable battery is great but the option of using regular batteries for backup is perfect for when out and battery runs down. Would definitely recommend.

This is my first rechargeable Coast headlight. I have had Coast battery powered headlights in the past, and they worked great as well. This is the most powerful headlight I have. The mode buttons are easy to operate while wearing gloves.I like that once I select a mode, the next button press goes right to off and I don't have to step through any remaining modes. The charge port on the bottom is nice, but the charge status light isn't visible when this is used. Has a very robust headband. The red and green modes are nice for night vision and close in work. Very satisfied with this light.

Headlamp is fine -- it's the warranty that is outstanding. My old one stopped working and they replaced it, no questions, no cost. I would never consider another brand.

Got this replacement their warranty policy. Have a small farm . Bought two of these about 5 years ago.
They get used in the winter months allot. 2-3 hours per day / 7days.

Wow who stands behind their product like this these days.

Love the FL85R ability to recharge with battery in place, or put a fresh battery in and charge the battery you took out.the beam focus is an excellent quality. You can not go wrong with this purchase for outdoor use.

Light is a bit large for a headlamp. Battery does not last but a few hours and the controls are not easy to manipulate. Red and green light separate button is confusing and lights are not very bright/ useful. The focus is convenient and lamp is bright when battery is fully charged . Will not be my first choice of headlamp to use. I use the lamp for work and nightly walks with dogs.
