This juicer replaces a Black and Decker juicer which wore out. I like that it allows pulp to come through. The opening for this can be adjusted if you want less pulp. I like that you can spin the basket very fast at the end of juicing to get the most juice out of the strainer. This is an unusual feature. The juicer does have a few parts to wash after use. Do read the instructions to put it together correctly. The juice falls into a carafe. It is provided with a lid for storage of the juice later. When you put the washed carafe back with the machine, you will probably be putting the lid on. Don’t forget to remove it when you start juicing! The basket above has an open and close feature to allow juice to fall into the carafe. If it is open and you forgot to take the lid off, you will spill juice! I like this juicer and can recommend it. I have used several juicers over the years. Fresh orange juice is delicious. Be sure to rinse or soak your parts immediately so that you remove the residual pulp easily.

This is an engineering marvel! You juice the orange, and when you're finished, it spins the pulp and gets the last bits of juice. It also comes apart conveniently so that it's as easy as possible to clean. I wish I could use it more, but I have to watch my carbs! I DID NOT get an incentive to write this review (and I write very few reviews) and I'm not a Cuisinart employee or affiliate. I'm a 72-year-old female piano teacher. I have already recommended it to friends and relatives.

I have been using this citrus juicer almost every day and unfortunately, it has been a huge disappointment. While the price point is attractive, the juicer has several drawbacks that outweigh its affordability. Firstly, the cone shape and size require a significant amount of force to squeeze oranges, which defeats the purpose of an electric juicer that should make the process easier and more efficient. In fact, I found that I needed less power when using a manual juicer.
Additionally, the size of the cone only fits small oranges, and larger fruits like grapefruits and bigger oranges tend to create splashes all over the place and making it difficult to extract all of the juice without a lot of maneuvering.
The juicer's reamer and sieve are also so small, which causes them to fill up quickly, and liquid splashes around during squeezing.
The sieve is also designed in a way that makes it difficult to clean the pulp (with a spoon), resulting that after juicing just a few oranges, the sieve needs to be washed thoroughly.
Overall, I cannot recommend this product and suggest looking for a higher-end juicer that will make juicing easier and more efficient.
