The fan looks the part but has a couple issues. The lights top and bottom do not dim far enough. The fan speed increments are too close and at its lowest is still too high. The app frequently drops off as well. I have that issue with Govee bulbs as well.
The look and quality of the fan is good... I just need the lights, fan and app connecticity addressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had reviewed this when I first had it installed, but once I downloaded the app, it let me do so much more with this fan and lights than with just the remote. I didn't think I could operate the lights separately, but with the app I can! The fan, even on #1, cools the room more than my old fan did. I also love being able to adjust the brightness of the light as well as colors. I also have connected both fans to my Alexa so I can operate them by voice command. I am so pleased with this purchase. I had not used Govee products before, but they were recommended to me by my son. I'm so glad I did! You won't be disappointed.

The fan when up easily and works great. Two things would make it perfect. 1) it currently doesn’t connect to the Govee PC app. 2) I installed this on a slipped ceiling. It really needed a longer downrod. If Govee would create a kit for just a longer downrod with a way to increase the wiring, this would be perfect.

The fan is good quality overall, but the controls are a bit confusing in the app. I would like the ability to keep the top light on by default when I turn the fan switch on and off, but it tends to reset and both the bottom and the top light turn on at the same time.

Replaced an older fan with this 'smart' unit. the fan function is far superior and the endless lighting options make it a class beater. No fan noise at lower speeds, no finding a step stool to go from summer to winter rotation, no out of balance condition to be rectified. All those "no's" add up tp one big YES.

I am remodelling and saw this fan/light combo from Govee. Due to good experience from previous Govee products (and I've tried a lot) I immediately pulled the trigger and ordered this light/fan. Had it up in less than 30 minutes, great instructions, easy install, and works great. The fan is silent and the light is perfect. I really like the upper light as an ambient light option for soft lighting, I only wish it could be controlled separately on Alexa. The only way to split the light function is on the APP (not the remote or voice operated) which is why one star minus. Otherwise....GREAT PRODUCT!
