Great tool for trimming Cuts through my shrubs no problem. The battery lasts a long time in this tool. Over 30 Mon of trimming for sure. Also has great ability to transition between different handle positions to cut at any angle needed

I bought this for my husband and it’s like his new Xmas toy. It makes things do much easier for him when he does the yard. I swear if he could do all the neighbors yards he would. He keeps telling me it’s the best thing I’ve bought him !!!

Hedge Trimmer is working fine but the battery is not recharged. Seems like a bad battery and contact GreenWorks but no feedback until today (I report it 3 weeks ago).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Time saver but has a learning curve

We italians are known for fine cultured bushes. To get perfect cuts you need a fine hand on the cutting blade. This unit is so top heavy, you have to be pretty strong to make fine cuts. It is perfect for long tall flat featureless hedges or for keeping those runaway growth bushes from getting out of control. But you wont be cutting hedges into rabbit shapes. I may have to get the smaller unit for that..or (gasp) keep my corded unit. No need for ear protection+

Page 5 of manual 2.7 states under trimmer safety warnings,”always fit the cutting device cover “. No cover was included with the tool. Not safe to store with exposed cutter. All competition tools have a cutter blade cover.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfectly easy to use

I just recently purchased this battery powered hedge trimmer to finish off my arsenal of landscape tools and it works great. So much easier to use than the old corded one I have owned for years not having to drag that cord around. Very happy with the convenience and it also has amazing cutting power. Now keeping my hedge trimmed on a more regular basis will be a reality.

Works great on keeping my 1/4 mile driveway shoulders trimmed of blackberry bushes, grasses and various other brush. My 288 watt hour pro extended battery lasted the entire 1/2 mile (both sides of road) with at least 1/2 charge remaining. Can’t say the same for the 40 volt tool and batteries I have. Stick with the 80v pro line if you can!
