Worked great but can't find a new blade!

This worked great. Until it needed a new blade. I can't find a replacement blade anywhere! Greenworks does not have one listed to sell. Shame.

All day job now a 2 hour job with no ladder needed

Just came last week and used it once so far. It was fantastic. Used to take all after noon to trim my hedges using a ladder. First use I trimmed all of my hedges ( about 100 feet long, 9 feet high, and 6 feet wide) in less than 2 hrs and no ladder.
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Powerful

Great Handheld Tool for Small Hedge Work

Greenworks has a great hand-held hedge trimmer for smaller shrubs, "fine-tune" shrubbing, and grass manicuring. The package can come as the "tool only" or with a basic 24V 1.5Ah battery with charger. Greenworks warranties for this product for 3 years.
DISCLAIMER: I have the tool-only version of the trimmer along with a dual 4Ah battery set with dual charger. I do not have the base 1.5Ah battery, and the review below will specify usage with these 4Ah batteries.
PROS:
* This tool is one over 125 tools that Greenworks offers that can use the 24V battery form factor. You may get batteries in different sizes depending on your needs.
* The hedge trimmer attachment is just what I needed for fine-tuning my main trim work with bigger hedge trimmers. This trimmer was great for trimming any missed spots or areas that were hard to reach. Also great for better shaping on the edges or for helping make the bushes more shapely in tight areas. This is very convenient especially with smaller bushes that need light trim work.
* Battery size options in 24V: Amperage includes 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, and 8.0 Ah
* I opted for the TOOL-ONLY model and then added TWO 4Ah batteries with dual charger. With these 2 batteries, my uptime is extremely high (see below).
* The grip is easy and is built for left or right-handed people. The safety button can be pressed on either side of the tool. For safety, there is no trigger to keep the tool running without pressing the trigger. Once your trigger finger comes off the trigger, the tool stops almost immediately.
* Removing each attachment is super easy - just press the 2 buttons on each side of the base of the attachment, and it comes right off.
* Attach/remove the battery is easy with a 1-button quick-release.
* A telescopic rod (separate accessory) can be attached for reaching low to cut grass. That is what the small port is used for that is located just above the battery and below the trigger. I do not have this accessory so cannot rate how this may work, but it is an option.
* The battery charger can be mounted vertically, if needed. Otherwise, it sits on 4 rubber feet pretty sturdy.
* The batteries have a button on the front which can indicate 1-3 bars of life

CONS:
* For this shrubber tool, I would have really liked to have a better storage case for the attachments when not being used. Both attachments have a plastic sleeve that holds the teeth; however, the part that attaches to the tool has a large amount of grease on it which is great for the tool's function but storage may be a problem since grease could get on things and also pick up dust/dirt/bugs. A full plastic case for each attachment would be great.
* For this shrubber tool, I would have really liked to have a better storage case for the attachments when not being used. * The width at the longest teeth of the hedge trimmer = 2-1/8" wide
* The width at the shortest teeth of the hedge trimmer = 1-7/8" wide
* The grass attachment "blades" measure 1" in cutting surface for each blade section
* The grass attachment "blades" measure 6" across all teeth.
* CHARGING TIME: TWO 4Ah batteries simultaneously, charge 0% to 100%: 2 hrs 13 mins. The charger lights stop blinking when charging is complete
* RUN TIME: 4Ah battery run time (constant just "running") (no pause or trimming work done): 5 hrs 27 mins
* The mini hedge trimmer has ample length at 8" long and a lot of power for a little tool

CONCLUSION:
This 8" hedge and grass trimmer is simply awesome! I have used the grass trimmer attachment even for some areas of my bushes; however, most of the usage is from the 8" attachment. The 4Ah battery I have provides a ton of power for what I need it for, and 1 charge allows me to finish my final manicure of around 15 bushes. It will not replace your big hedge trimmer, but it will allow you to fine-tune your cuts or hit small areas you miss or can't reach with a big trimmer. The thumb safety button is in a good spot to be able to pull the trigger each time you turn it on. I would definitely recommend!

Holds a charge very well, in fact it hasn’t needed charged since we first used it!! Love love love all Greenworks products!! We buy so batteries are interchangeable and we have 3 products now.
