This has to be the worst re-design ever! It pulls at hairs and will bite into your face. The original design was great. But now I fear that I will have to find a new razor company because Norelco will just not listen. They cut cost very well just not hairs.
Cons: pulls facial hair and bites into skin.

Does not perform anywhere close to the head included with the shaver! How this could have passed as a remotely functional product is beyond me. Do not expect anywhere close to a clean shave with this replacement head. May be time to switch to a different brand.

Simply put, this replacement head does not work. I replaced the head after one year, as per instructions. The replacement head does not deliver results. I can no longer use the shaver for head hair (which I would use daily. I'm mostly bald). After three months, it no longer works for facial hair. The original shaver head worked great. Very disappointed with the replacement, please re-design or go back to the old style.
Pros: none
Cons: does not cut hair at all

RQ12 pro

Bought this as a replacement for my original RQ12 (1255X Shaver) that had shaving heads that pivoted open for cleaning. This a poor substitute; doesn't fit well, noisy, poor shaving performance. Re-installed the old RQ12 and much happier.
Pros: can't think of one positive thing
Cons: poor fit noisy and poor shaving performance

Going back to the old shaver head!

I do not like the design of this new replacement head for the Arcitec shaver! If you're not very careful the 3 shaver segments catch your lip in its center! I tried it a couple of days and then sharpened the blades on my old RQ10 head and re-installed it! They have also done away with the famous Lift and Cut feature on this blade! The new head is junk IMHO! The new head is now on ebay!

Cons: tries to bite your lip!

Have used this razor (model 1250) and generally liked how it performed. After ~ 1 year the head needs replaced and I have not been able to find any replacement heads locally. Shopping on-line I only have found a few and the prices are nearly the same as I paid for the unit originally!!!
Going to buy a competitors product to replace this unit - never going to buy another Phillips product ever!
Cons: replacement parts over priced and difficult to obt

I am glad I kept my original shaver head it is almost 2 years old and cuts better than this new replacement head that is less than a month old. Norelco needs to come back with the old style head or won't be selling many razors in the future.
