After 17 years of Philips Norelco products, the Braun 9 series is in my Amazon cart. It wouldn't be there if I could still purchase my Arcitec RQ10 heads. How many customers will you lose before you correct this problem, Philips?

Original shaving head great, replacement horibble

The title says it all, the original razors were great, even after four years they cut better than the brand new replacement head.
Pros: the original shaving head/razor was amazing
Cons: replacement head/razor are horrible

i am so disappointed. I bought this shaver about a year ago and love it. I just bought my first replacement head and it was terrible. I actually had to use the old original head to re-shave. I can't find the original head for sale anywhere. NOW WHAT?? waste of money.
Pros: original is fantastic!
Cons: cant buy original replacement head.

I've had this shaver for 3 years. After the second year I had to try the RQ12+ shaving head. It was Ok, but now that I've had it for a year it is severly worn out. I put my old head on that I had previously used for a year, and it is far superior. I seem to recall when first tried the RQ12+ head it seemed to be on par with my one year old RQ12/52. Nothing beats the RQ12/52 if you have an extra days growth, it chews through the stubble no problem. The RQ12+ makes me 5 minutes late for work.
Battery life is starting to wane a little, now down to about a week.

Bring back the performance of the RQ12/52! Nothing else like it on the market.

Love the razor, hate the replacement head

I have had the Senso Touch 3D-1255x. It was an excellent razor up until the time I had to change the head. The cost of the replacement head is overpriced and the new RQ12Plus does not even give a close shave then the one that was a year old. My OEM even though it was a year old and needed to be replaced, gave a better shave then the RQ12Plus. I was a loyal customer for 10 years+ but not anymore. Why did you try to fix something that did not need to be fixed. Unhappy Customer!!

i used blades and shaving cream my whole life 64 years
until my wife bought me the norelco arcitec which used the rq10 replacement head and it was great for 4 years until they changed the head to the rq12 which rips up my face and that i can not use
please refund my money so i can go buy blades again

avoid the RQ12+ like the plague!

The RQ12+ has no redeeming qualities. The image is of an RQ12 which are great but you can't buy them anymore. I bought an RQ12+ and within a few days I had dug my old RQ12 out of the garbage to use again.
Pros: none
Cons: poor uncomfortable shaves

Nothing like the replacement

Looses 3D functionality and the head does not shave as close as the 3D head of the 1280 series.
Cons: does not last more than 6 months, brand new does not shave as the original head
