Excellent product but difficult to find in stores

The razor is wonderful. Excellent, close shaves. Lasts long before needing new blades and therein is the problem. It is impossible to find replacement blades in a store; you have to buy them over the web.
Pros: extremely close shave, blade lasts a year minimum before replacement
Cons: cannot find in stores

With out a doubt this head shaves closer that them original RQ 12 Shaver head.

After reading all of the negative reviews on the RQ 12+ I was real leery of purchasing it. Need to replace my original RQ 12 shaver head so I purchased this with a lot of reservations. Will say at first I was not sure of my judgment though after several weeks of use I am convinced that is better than the original RQ 12 shaver head. It’s actually easier to clean and gives a far better (closer & smother) shave. Don’t hesitate as I did for 4 months before buying a replacement RQ 12 shaver head.
Pros: closer shave, smother shave, easy to clean

The ease of cleaning is greatly improved over the original heads. Also, we are now able to move the heads to different locations which greatly enhances longevity. The somewhat more angled heads takes a little getting used to but seems to be working out OK.

Gives a very good shave as always. The new design is not as convenient as the previous flip open design was when it cones to cleaning.
Pros: grate shave.
Cons: the two part head for cleaning.

I have been using this shaver for several years and it consistently gives me the closest, most comfortable shave I have ever gotten. I have tried other shavers in the past (gotten as gifts) but have always returned to this shaver. I am 74 years old and have used electric shavers since I was around 17, and will never use any other.
