Great replacement. Don’t know why bad reviews

I have a combination beard of both coarse and fine hair. The coarse hair can often get pulled by bad shavers. Not the case with this replacement. Maybe people aren’t finding out their shaver each day or maybe aren’t using shave lotion/creme.
I’ll be buying it again. Very pleased with it.
*no, it does not have individual openings per blade but I have not found any negative issues with that. Each blade does still flex independently of the other two.
After 5 years with my 1255X shaver I thought that I'd see if new heads would improve the shaving performance. The RQ12 gives a closer shave with less strokes--I'm very glad I upgraded.
No problems replacing the old blades, very easy to snap in place. My first shave, no pulling of the face hair. Should have replaced them several months ago, did not know how comfortable new blades would have been. Thanks for a very good product that actually works!

I've been using a Sensotouch 3D with the original RQ12 blades for two years. Then I read that only the new RQ12+ blades are available and they are completely different. I saw all the bad reviews and was prepared to be disappointed. I've used the RQ12+ blades for about 10 days. At least for my beard, which is pretty tough, they are working at least as well as the original RQ12. It took a few days of use to adjust. I'd recommend giving it a try and buying from somewhere that offers a money-back guarantee if it doesn't work out.
Tried all the advertised "great" razors. This razor is the best I've ever used. Head unit lasted long past the suggested use and replacement I bought will too. Well worth the money!
I love my SensoTouch 3D electric razor. This particular product (the Shaving Unit) needs replacing from time to time - due to wear. I follow the recommended info that it be replace annually. This is a great product.

My original shaver head was working well after 5 years but decided to upgrade. New head is different config and takes some adapting to change. New head appears to give a closer shave but cleaning is not easier. In retrospect should have explored new cutter blades for original head and will try for availability.
