Great for Bigger Batches

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this right after Christmas because my previous stand mixer was not large enough for me to make two loaves of bread at a time without the dough climbing all the way up the hook! It is a good stand mixer, but it is really meant for ALL larger recipes. I find that if I do want to make just one loaf, I need to scrape a LOT to get it all incorporated. This isn't just a larger, but still accommodating set, it really does want a larger recipe. With that being said, it seems very powerful and I did get a wider range of choices for colors this time, which was nice. I don't, however, appreciate the lack of communication after the email I sent on the night of purchase was not responded to. It's been about 3 weeks and nothing! Makes me slightly nervous for communication if I ever had a bigger problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the size of this mixer! This is such a beautiful color . The 1/2 stir feature is ideal for bakers that want to fold add in’s to dough without over mixing dough. Wish i bought this mixer along time ago.

Great Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 3 weeks ago. Great purchase. OI use this appliance all the time especially for my bread baking. I had a hard time tightening the attachment knob as it is smooth. I had to grab my rubber grip to ensure its tightness. My lift handle also kept coming unscrewed.
Other than that. I love love love it especially the 1/2 speed

Large Batches

It will take me some time to get used to the difference between my old tilt. As others have shared it is a bit louder than the other. But I really am pleased with my purchase.

I made bread once or twice a week and it handles the dough like a champ. I highly recommend the bowl lift if you make things that are very heavy. I had a tilt head for years that gave up during Covid. The head pin shook right out since it’s not really meant to do things super dense. And the pistachio color is so dreamy.

Really happy to be able to make BIG batches

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd KitchenAid mixer over the course of 50 years of baking. The first was a hand-me-down from my mother. The second is still in use--but "only" a 4 quart size. This is a size mixer that I've wanted for several years. With it, I can easily double batches of cake and cookie recipes. It's powerful. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
