Cheap, but way too expensive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve wanted a kitchen aid stand mixers for years. Decades! My generous husband gave me the nicest one he could find and every. Single. Attachment. For our recent anniversary. I was thrilled! Imagine how I felt, then, when it fell apart during my very first use. It was the ice cream attachment, and it was running smoothly. . .until it sheared into pieces. My second use gave me the same feeling, when pieces of the handle literally dropped off of it! The renowned kitchenaid is now made so cheaply that I wouldn’t buy it on clearance, much less for the many hundreds of dollars they’re charging. Deeply disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Unsatisfied! DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer is not that great and had a terrible experience. The mixer was left with a burnt smell and stopped working after trying to make a bread dough. After it stopped working, it started working again after 45+ minutes and stopped again after few minutes of running at the recommended speed which not only ruined the dough but also my experience. On top of that the latch for the bowl is really stiff to work with making every single baking experience difficult. I wasn't aware of the return/exchange policy of kitchenaid but they make it impossible to do so. Now I have this mixer that doesn't serve the purpose and is difficult to work with and I can't even exchange it. Simply NOT WORTH the money!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New 7qt lift stand mixing bowl rusting.

Definitely had higher hopes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a few months back. We own an inhome Bakery and I needed something bigger. It does have more room, but it's very hard to get on and off with the attachment. To scrape, you have to take the entire thing apart to reach it all. I love my 4.5 qt mixers. Wish they could make the larger ones the same way. I only use the new one when necessary and decided to just keep using my smaller ones.

From the sad motor that can barely make it through a two rounds of bread mixing to the difficulty of attaching a mixing head, this is probably the worst investment I’ve made to my tiny business.
