Lower Quality than in years past

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third KitchenAid stand mixer I have owned and by far the lowest in quality. Noisy motor and lower power than in years past. While the color is beautiful, the bowl is brushed and shows scratches and smudges. A stainless bowl would serve the mixer better.

Good for baking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the larger mixer for my cottage bakery, making mainly sourdough bagels, cookies and cinnamon rolls. It works great for double batches of cookies, but still on the smaller side for bread. Overall, I am satisfied, as it’s still small enough to sit out on the counter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this KitchenAid for my micro-bakery... to replace my 5qt. KitchenAid. I was told that this would be the best size for triple batches of cookies and dinner roll recipes. Cookies seem to do fine. I find that the motor struggles to keep up with bread doughs. I absolutely love KitchAid products. I am just nervous this one won't last as the motor already sounds high pitched and gets sluggish. (it's only a month old)
If I had it to do over, I would pursue their commercial line, despite the recommendation.

Greater power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very hay. I’ve always had a kitchen aid mixer but wanted to upgrade to the bigger motor. It’s a dream. Grandkids love how big of a batch of cookies we can make and a double recipe of banana bread is easy.

Soft Start quiet improved motor & metal drive gear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous KitchenAid (5 years old with a lot of bread making) was starting to show its age and an attractive sale made me purchase an upgraded model. Brilliant idea, this is by far the best machine I ever had especially since I do a lot of bread making that takes strenuous load and usually it every 5 years. This upgraded mixer is quite (and love the soft start feature) and does not struggle when I mix 2 loafs at a time. A real pleasure to use and sure makes my baking fun instead of a chore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome, just as. Good as my 40yr old one was if not better. We just made 30lbs of venison sausage and it worked great, ground the meat and stuffed the castings and didn’t even break a 😅
