[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Enjoying the mixer. I do a lot of baking. Hard to put the bowl on the mixer and a little rust on the bowl, otherwise it is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing that happened was that the handle fell apart. These used to be family heirlooms working for decades! For this much money? What a disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this KitchenAid for my micro-bakery... to replace my 5qt. KitchenAid. I was told that this would be the best size for triple batches of cookies and dinner roll recipes. Cookies seem to do fine. I find that the motor struggles to keep up with bread doughs. I absolutely love KitchAid products. I am just nervous this one won't last as the motor already sounds high pitched and gets sluggish. (it's only a month old)
If I had it to do over, I would pursue their commercial line, despite the recommendation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a KitchenAid for 19 years. Some of the little things were wearing down so I decided to buy this one. It took a little getting use to because the bowl was different. It lifts up instead of twists into the bottom but I love the size. I make cookies all the time and with double batches there's plenty of room. The cream color is awesome! I love it!

Amazing power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is a gentle giant compared with my precious smaller Kitchen Aid. It’s quiet and blends quickly and completely. I’m in awe. I have not mastered getting the the bowl on and off and when to put the beater on.

Great mixer! Room to make large batches!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new mixer! This was an upgrade for me and my old mixer went to my niece, who was excited to get that one. Made a double batch of oatmeal cookie's and it handled it with no problem! The folding speed was great for the raisins. Then made pizza dough and love how well the kneading hook works. My one complaint I’m finding the bowl hard to put on. It’s definitely not a one handed process for me and I’m hoping it’s just stiff and will become easier over time. Even with that, I feel it’s a five star mixer and would recommend to other bakers.

I had the smaller stand mixer and wanted to upgrade to the larger, i like it but the one think i can't get use to is the fact the head doesn't tip back. it's awkward to try to unhook the attachments when they are in the bowl full of batter.
