I brought this stand mixer a few months ago and love everything I have made from it! I originally owned a smaller kitchen aid stand mixer and started making all of our bread products homemade and this has made the transition so much easier!
I love my mixer! My daughter purchased this for me. I have been wanting to upgrade to this 7 QT bowl lift stand for some time now, but was surprised when this arrived for Christmas! I have used it quite a lot and I love it! So much bigger and oh so much stronger for bread and other things I use it for.
I bought this to replace my 5qt stand mixer that I had for 20 years. I love the color (milkshake; a greige color) and the larger bowl size. It took some getting used to not tilting the head back, but that's no big deal. The higher wattage is also nice. The only complaint I have is it sounds a little lile grinding coffee when it runs. Not sure if that's normal or not. Hopefully this one will last another 20 years.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my head tilt kitchen aid for 12 years and loved it, but i needed something bigger as i was making more volume than in the past. The bowl lift is just so cumbersome and less user friendly than the head tilt and I am so disappointed. I called kitchen aid to see if I could return and get the larger head tilt and I was turned down.
I had the smaller stand mixer and wanted to upgrade to the larger, i like it but the one think i can't get use to is the fact the head doesn't tip back. it's awkward to try to unhook the attachments when they are in the bowl full of batter.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new mixer! This was an upgrade for me and my old mixer went to my niece, who was excited to get that one. Made a double batch of oatmeal cookie's and it handled it with no problem! The folding speed was great for the raisins. Then made pizza dough and love how well the kneading hook works. My one complaint I’m finding the bowl hard to put on. It’s definitely not a one handed process for me and I’m hoping it’s just stiff and will become easier over time. Even with that, I feel it’s a five star mixer and would recommend to other bakers.
