I have used ASUS network hardware for many years and find that every generation is a step up in performance and flexibility. The BT 10 fits this mold and expectation.

I bought this to replace another mesh system that was about the hardest thing ever to set up. Every time the power went out, I had to go through the process again, forgetting about half the things that worked last time. This ASUS unit is practically plug & play. Plug the units in, follow the instructions on the app, and you're up & running! Should take maybe 10 minutes, maybe a little longer depending. Besides that, my old system was Wifi 6, and with the BT10's Wifi 7 support, I'm getting about 30% faster throughput.

Once I got it set up with the help of Asus support, the mesh router system has worked flawlessly.

Works great as a mesh system with wired backhaul (using MoCA for wired backhaul). I get full internet speeds over wifi all over my house and yard now. Very happy with it. I did turn on "ai protection " for a few days but my wife and I noticed out phones disconnecting and taking a few seconds to reconnect when switching between nodes. Once I turned the "ai protection " off again, it's back to seemless switching between nodes and no more disconnechappy. Asus app and web GUI have in depth options and settings. Overall very hasppy.

The first thing I noticed was how nicely these were packaged. Setup was a breeze with the Quick Setup Guide. I will note I was prompted to do a firmware update during the initial setup. This only updated the primary router, I had to circle back after the setup was finished to update the matching satellite. I do enjoy the ASUS app; however, web access to the router is much more robust and easier to manage (recommended). Firmware updates from the app are easy enough, but I haven't been able to figure out how to view my separate IOT SSID vs my primary one. It's easily available via web (for example). Personally, I schedule a reboot every Sunday night around 2am just to refresh things, but this is not necessary. I upgraded from 2x Asus RT-AX88U (mesh), which is a very nice Wifi 6 setup. Even with that, I've noticed a pretty modest gain in my download speeds. I subscribe to 1GB, and usually got anywhere from 700-900 Mbps download. Since upgrading to this BT10 setup, I'm usually around 1100. Zero complaints about this unit, and aesthetically, my wife approves.

Super simple install. Blazing fast compared to my old Netgear router.
