I purchased this iron about 10 months ago. The steam button quit working. Spoke with Wendy in customer service. She handled my problem in a professional and courteous manner. Very pleased with the service. She replaced the one I had.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for the 5-stars! We really appreciate your input.
Bought this iron at Michaels in April 2021. There was a tiny bit of water leakage in the beginning but put up with it because I really was pleased with everything else about the iron. However, the leakage worsened over past several months. I am an avid quilter and use my iron pretty much everyday. I am at a point now that I cannot use this iron unless I place a cloth beneath it when in standing position which becomes soaked within minutes. It leaks like a basket. I can no longer use this iron. Very very dissappointed and frustrated with Singer!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The weight and the smooth glide of this iron takes all the frustrations out of ironing. The weight is perfect gliding over rather than pushing down on wrinkles. The shape of the tip was my reason for buying - and it did not disappoint - perfect for yokes, collars, cuffs and all seam finishing. Generous steam, nice fine spray mechanism. A pleasure to use.

Thank you so much for the 5 stars and for taking the time to write your review of the Singer SteamCraft Steam Iron White/Gray . We greatly appreciate you for sharing your experience with other shoppers.
The steam key got stuck in after only a few months use. I have tried to continue using it, but without the steam key, I can't use the vertical steam function at all and I also cannot add extra steam when I need it. I had to buy a new iron because of this. Sounds like others have the same issue.
I sew garments, so I use my iron several times per week. I am also very careful about using only distilled water and self-cleaning often to keep my iron running well. I had this issue despite the time and effort I put in to keep my iron working well. I am very disappointed.
The iron is also very heavy. If you are using it regularly, like I do, it puts a lot of pressure on your wrist.

I bought this iron 3 months ago to use will my professional iron was repaired. I seldom use it. The steam button just broke. That's it. I have to throw the iron away—can't use it.

I LOVE this iron- it heats up so quickly and really does put out enough steam to vertically steam clothing or even a duvet cover. The long cord is a heavier duty than other household irons and allows plenty of room to move around. My favorite feature of all is the precision tip that juts ahead like the prow of a ship. I was concerned the heat wouldn't be evenly distributed, but it surely is, and that little tip has saved my fingers already by easily manuevering around buttons, pleats, and center pressing tiny 1/4 seams without having to put my hands in harm's way. Oh, and the 30 min vertical auto-off? Genius. Bless you, Singer! Steamcraft is now as essential to my sewing as my machine itself. This is a heavier iron, so if you have arthritis it might be a little difficult to handle after a while. Also, definitely read the user manual and iron an old towel first- there was a little manufacturing lube/residue in mine, but it came right out without ruining a project or my board cover because of the heads up in the manual. This irons so well I no longer need my wool pressing mat.
