After using a similar product at the gym and at a friends, I ordered this one on-line at a price similar to what they had paid. I was surprised to find mine was larger and of equal or better quality and cost less. It was a great bang for the buck. My wife uses it for back pain and I use it for massage and stretching.

If you've never tried a roller after a hard workout, you're in for a treat. It almost feels like a deep tissue massage. This roller is fine for the money, but it does compress fairly rapidly. My husband and I (both slim) have used it about 30 times, and the middle section is now indented.

We puchased this becuase a friend of ours (who has back issues) used this to help aleviate her back pain (by rolling back and forth several times once a day). So far it has definitly helped my wife. It is no magic fix, but seems to help allign stuff (note if you don't like your back cracking while rolling don't by this! )I think we could have goten by with the shorter one, as somestimes it is hard to find a wide enough floor area to use this. But overall we have been very pleased with it.

I love this roller! I got this size so that I could bring it with me to the different gyms and studios I go to. I use it after cardio, which is usually followed by weight training, and then again after weights. It gives the deep tissue style massage which alleviates that super painful lactic acid buildup. I have not had the problem of it flattening out beyond use. Since it is made of pliable, porous foam I expect it to compress a little over time bit mine is still good as new! I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants a more complete workout.

I found it works good for loosening tight muscles. I have other brands of foam rollers in other sizes. So far mine is holding up fine after a few weeks of use and this one seems of comparable quality to my other rollers.

This is a good quality roller. I like the fact that comes with a DVD that shows you how you can use the roller... I bought it mostly to massage my IT band as I have knee problems.... I think it started to help already after using for 1 week. Highly Recommended!!!
