Device works great once you get it connected

Perhaps rating this good unfairly because of a limitation on my part. But, I found it very confusing when connecting the device. The device insisted on connecting to my mobile phone as a hotspot. I have never set up my phone as a hotspot through an active 2.4g wifi connection. Fumbled around with it for over an hour and finally got the device to connect to my mobile phone. Still do not know what I did to get it to work. Might be nice to enhance the instructions with more detail.

I have two of these cameras and two of the pan-tilt. Pretty easy to set up using Lorex Home app. Follow directions. I monitor my home when gone and mostly to keep an eye on my dog when we're not home. For lower priced cameras they do all I need for them to do. Lorex is a good company. I've used their outside cameras for years. Which I could be logged in from more than one device. I switch between my phone and Ipad. Can only use one or the other. To switch have to re-log in.

Work well (when power remains on)

The cameras work great for when I'm gone and want to check on my apartment from my phone. They adjust to night vision depending on the light coming in. However, my power went out and the cameras completely disconnected with no way to get them back online remotely. They are the kind that plug in, but there's no battery backup or anything so I had to wait until I got back to reset everything, defeating their purpose.

I bought 2 of these to go with my Pan-Tilt Camera. Everything works so great; high quality video and audio, really easy to set-up, really easy to save snapshots or whole videos to my camera roll. My only complaint is that - if we experience a power outage and it comes back on, my cameras do need to be reset/unplugged to work again. This won't be good if we're on an extended vacation.
Still, I would recommend these cameras!

I purchased 4 cameras in one package, one of the camera is opened and used. Nothing wrong with that camera so far. So no big deal, just state the fact.

Clear as a bell

The camera images are exceptionally clear. It is easy to use and adjust and its small size make it idea to set up in many configurations and angles. It's not so clear at night, looking out, even with outside lights, but I love it just the same. The price was just right too!!

Good but not perfect

Great little cameras with night vision and sound. My only complaint is that the mounting options should be more flexible. Should be able to rotate the image to any angle since it can only be mounted a few ways.
