I bought two of these while on a job site out of state because I was familiar with the high quality and ease of use of the T50 heavy duty staple gun. They are great tools.
Pros: Upholstery, Crafting, General Repairs

Excellent product with a long life

These tools are excellent and easy to use. My father and I have used these tools for years. We have used the hammer tacker, the electric stapler, and the old stand by T50. There have been a lot of new products added over the years and most have added benefits and value for the customer.
Pros: Roofing, General Repairs, insulation, rescreaning
I would recommend this to a friend!

Product lacks two good features ...

Even though this staple gun performs well with some good features, it has two features that I dislike.
(1) The compression spring is too firm and (2) the loading system is cumbersome.
I prefer a staple gun that performs well requiring less compression to reduce tiring from use on large projects. I would also prefer an open sleeve that allows easy open and loading, just open and drop-in staples. This channel loading system on the T50, does not easily open and requires you to insert from the end, making it cumbersome when loading, especially in low light areas.
Some may like this staple gun for occasional use, but it's not well suited for extended use over the coarse of a large project.

Durable and easy

Easy to use, durable, only the 2nd one I've owned in 15 years, love the product only had to replace because the last one was stolen, wouldn't even consider another brand!

I use my staple gun for many tasks around my house and outdoors. I like the fact that if I am working outside and I would happen to drop my staple gun (which has happened) that it is very durable and will not break. I would reccomend the T50 to everyone that I talk to.

Snow and ice prevented me from hanging up the Christmas lights on the roof eves this year, but using the T-50 staple gun made stapling the lights to my deck railing a breese.
Pros: insulation, chistmas lights
