If you're looking for a basic heavy-duty stapler, you can't go wrong with the T50. Made in the USA, and clearly built to last. Simple and effective.

Heavy Duty and Quality Product

Purchased this stapler after the one that has been around for years broke. Went through approximately 2,000 staples with no issues. Handle is a little press at first but puts the staples right where they need to be.
Pros: Hanging Targets, Roofing, Upholstery, General Repairs, insulation

It is a manual heavy duty stapler. I used it once so far on an uphostery project. It is easy to use, puts the staples where expected, and usually drives them completely. It failed once when a staple twisted and blocked the staple feed. It was easy enough to clear.

Good for a starter (1776)

I purchase stapler to redo a chair that I own. While handling the stapler it kept slipping out of my hand, because the surface was so slick. When I got over that, my job became so much easier putting the fabric back on the chair. The other thing is that after I finish, I had to tap the stapler with a hammer to go flush into the seat of the chair. The staplers may have been too long, or wood may been too hard, not sure. (1776)
