This is a tried and true design. Staples well if you have good, close contact with the material. It's a little hard to use if you have small hands like me, but I can manage.
Pros: Hanging Targets, Upholstery, General Repairs, insulation

Great product

This product is great, and has many uses! I,m a do it your selfer, and love fixing things, and this product helped me fix things around the house and in the garage! Every Fall, I use it to tack up plastic on our windows, so to keep out the cold air in Winter... Also to tack up tarp around the front porch, to hold back the Artic blast we get every year!

Bought this staple gun for some home projects and have not been disappointed. It was easy to load, and so far has been jam free.

Jam resistant mechanism? Where?

We purchased this stapler to do some insulation in the attic. At first we pounded through it, my dad and I were putting the insulation up quick and we made good progress. However this device, after enduring about twenty minutes of work started jamming constantly, every other staple we put up. We spent more time removing jammed staples than we spent putting up the insulation. This device's "Heavy Duty" mechanism could not put staples through the soft pine wood of two by fours, as it is advertised as being a capable device. This device is under- capable and It's "Jam resistant mechanism" was non existent as our stapler continued to jam. Eventually it broke and we could not fix it. Anyone who is saying that this device is of exceptional quality should put their heavy duty stapler through some pretty soft work such as putting up insulation. You will be surprised about how easily it will stop working and leave your job at a standstill. I do not recommend this product.

Very good functional staple gun

This is a sturdy gun and has a leveraged release mechanism which gives it extra power when compared to the lower priced guns. I use 9/16" staples and need the extra force.
Pros: fencing
