Excellent product.

My Dad had a T-50 back in the '60s. I needed a staple gun to reupholster some kitchen chair seats. My new one performed just like the old one I remembered.
Pros: Upholstery, Crafting, General Repairs

I purchased thi item after looking at the stanley line because of the grip and the availability of the staples.I used it to put screen up .It worked great.
Pros: General Repairs

Not the quality I expected

The way the handle is attached to the body of the tacker makes for a loose fit. It seems the parts could have been machined better to provide a more stable fit. The loading and locking mechanism seems flimsy and doesn't always secure properly unless you fiddle with it. The chrome finish seemed scratched, not a thick finish.

I've used it mainly for framing canvas portraits and this has consistently worked to great quality. It hasn't jammed since I got it and used it for almost 2000 punches.

The T50 Stapler

This product is easy to use, it has a contoyr grip, but it is a little loud but outdoors that really doesn't matter. I like the handle lock feature, which is a good safety feature too. The trigger is not too hard to manage, so it's not an easy tool for children to operate. I like it a lot. I used it putting up screen around my patio. Thanks arrow for the T50 jam resistant stapler.
Pros: Crafting, outdoor screening

overall pleased, much easier to use and consistent over my old black & decker stapler. had 2 of those give out on me. This one could use a little more power as my last project was chicken wire on 2x4's and the staples didn't always go in all the way.
