Bought the T50 Power Stapler as I started an addition on my home. used it for stapling plastic sheeting, insulation, carpet pad, and more. Great product!

They just don't last

I own four of these staplers from 2months to two years old. They are used in my shooting classes to staple targets to cardboard backer boards. None of them work...even he newest one. Ii have tried repairing them and they will work for 15 or twenty staples then stop again. They just don't last and I will have to replace them. I'll try some different brands.

Hello, there. There are a variety of things that can affect the performance of a manual staple gun--using longer staples than needed for the materials involved, not keeping the staple gun flush to the surface when firing, or not fully clearing a staple jam inside the magazine. The best way to clear Arrow's T50 staple gun is by first removing the pusher rod. Then use pliers to hold the nut while loosening the screw at the back of the tool. Once that's done, remove the screw and pull out the entire inside frame of the tool. Finally, you can use a flathead screwdriver or pliers to clear any stuck staples.
