I had absolutely no issue using this stapler and the tool had no issue going into the hard wood

There products are very user friendly with a wide range of staple sizes for various projects, you just can not go wrong with arrow. You can also go any local hardware store and know that you will be able to pick up the staples you need for your arrow stapler.
