Great for haning up Christmas Lights.

Great for reupholstering!

I used for reupholstering a chair.. worked GREAT! I also use it when crafting and it makes my project a lot easier to finish..whether using cloth or multiple frames, it does the job!

Stapling insulation

This stapler is for a woman with small, weak hands. Not a tool to put in anything but 1/4 staples. It will not seat a 3/8 staple into yellow pine 2/4's.
I had to use a hammer on every staple. Ran out of craftsman staples near the end of the job. It is american made, fairly good quality, works fine but, is not much more than a toy. I haven't tried a white pine board. It might be able to sink a 1/4 staple into white pine. My wife wants to upholster the seats on dining room chairs. I really doubt it will sink a 1/4 staple into the oak seat of a good chair.

This stapler was designed to work with a variety of hard wood and soft wood, including oak, plywood and MDF. We always recommend choosing the shortest staple possible to achieve the penetration of 3/16-inch to 1/4-inch required for a secure hold, so we're wondering if a shorter staple would have resolved the issue.
However, it sounds like there may have been other issues at play as well, so we'd like to touch base with you directly about this since we do stand behind the T50 with a limited lifetime warranty.

Great quality staple gun
