good tool, but only for someone with large hands

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this type of stapler for years and have had to learn how to operate it, but it is very awkward for someone with smaller (female) hands. The best leverage force comes when squeezing at the back, but my hands cannot reach to effectively compress the lever and maintain accurate position of the head. I have to position my hands closer to the head and use my body position to apply greater force. Besides being more tiring this also can result is numerous staples applied in slightly the wrong place. This is OK when stapling the paper flange on insulation batts, but is frustrating when trying to install hardware cloth and seeing all those staples in the spaces between the wires...This became especially noticeable working to screen attic vents from in the attic. I was at an awkward position and couldn't get my body weight properly located to do the more difficult squeeze closer to the head of the stapler.
I would love to see the construction industry recognize the number of women who need to use their tools.

Hello - The T50 is a heavy-duty manual stapler, and you are correct that some people find it difficult to fire. The TruTac stapler (TT21) is actually designed for people with limited hand strength. That gun uses J21 staples. The T50X uses T50 staples and is another option that may be easier for you to fire. Thanks. - Your Arrow Fastener Team

Great for building and hanging lights
