Sturdy, reliable, and a bit hard to hold/staple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The T50 heavy duty staple gun is sturdy and well built. it seems durable. I have only used it a few times and it has worked well without jamming. It drives the staples fully. The durable metal handle is a little hard at times to hold as it is somewhat slippery when you are holding it at an odd angle. It takes a bit more hand strength than a "reverse stapler".
Initially I wanted to purchase a "reverse stapler", where it takes less effort to staple and shoots multiple types of staples. Instead I chose the T50 heavy duty because of 1) the number of units sold, 2) the number of positive reviews, 3) its reliability. This is seen in the arrow web site, amazon and other tool reviews. I chose the T50 because it is extremely reliable, but only shoots a limited variety of staples. It made more sense to get a reliable, well built stapler that shoots a limited types of staples, rather than getting a less reliable, more frustrating, but versatile reverse stapler.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My dad had the T-50 since I was a kid. I'm 70 now and finally had to buy a new one. I'll pass this down to the next generation or two. Thanks for the quality!!!

Nonstop Jamming

I bought this tool last summer to install plastic fencing. It jammed nonstop. I had to carry a needle nosed pliers to pull out mangled jammed 1/2 inch T50 staples. I had to take it apart to unjam regularly. Now I am installing R15 insulation between wall studs and same story. This was once considered the gold standard of staplers. No longer true!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
