this stapler stopped working

I've had this stapler for around a year & it just stopped working. There doesn't seem to be anything obstructing it, but it 'staples' air instead of staples. The one I had before lasted more than 30 years. And of course this one is 'tamper-proof', not user friendly, so I can't fix it. Needless to say, I'm going to buy another brand this time.Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello, there, it sounds like your T50 Heavy Duty Staple Gun may have a jam inside that’s causing it to misfire. To clear it, remove the pusher rod assembly, and use a screwdriver and pliers to remove the screw and nut located at the back of the tool. The channel assembly can then be removed and you can clear the jammed staple. easy to handle

This product is so easy that anyone can use it. I let a friend use mine and she didn't think she could use it, but after I showed her how to use it she was able to finish her project without my help.

Bought this stapler about a month ago. Ran less than 100 staples through

Hello, there. We're sorry you were disappointed by your experience with Arrow's Heavy Duty T50 Staple Gun. It's possible that you may have a jam within the tool, which is causing the failure you're describing. To clear a stuck staple in the T50, first remove the pusher rod. Next, use pliers to hold the nut while loosening the screw at the back of the tool. Remove the screw and pull out the entire inside frame of the tool. Now you can use a flathead screwdriver or pliers to clear any stuck staples. You can see a visual here: http://bit.ly/2haiaA8. T50 stapler

I have had my stapler for many years and have not had any problems with it. The stapler has performed exceptionally well for 30+ years for all kinds of tasks. Exceptional tool
