[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this stapler on a hamster cage for attaching heavy-duty screen. It worked perfectly & was comfortable in hand.I also used it to secure moisture barrier paper under hardwood floor install. Perfect!

not enough power to drive 1/2 in staple more than half way in white pine

attempted to staple 2 1/4 in pine moldings together, and barely able to penetrate 1 piece trying to make a lattice.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Here's more information on choosing the staple length for various applications and materials: https://bit.ly/3fJdrRS.
