Great product that is american made

I love this stapler, with one exception. I would like to see a padded handle and shorten the squeeze distance. Other than that I would not trade this one for anything else when out in the field. I have only owned two of these. The first one purchased in 1991, the second one Dec. 2015. The first would still be around if not for a house fire.
Pros: Upholstery, insulation, Wiring, General Repairs

I've used Arrow staplers in the telephone industry and in my personal workshop. They are the top of the line and the only brand I consider

Jams way too often - wastes 10 staples for every one that goes in straight

I would not recommend this product to anyone.
I find I get one staple in straight in 10 - most either misfire or go in on an angle. I have strong hands and am able to hold the stapler level. Most often the staples come apart inside the gun and need to be tapped out, to free up a jam.
I am going to give this one away

Hello, there. We need some more information to help you troubleshoot. In particular, knowing what project you were doing, as well as the material and the size of staple used, can help us more fully understand what's going on. One quick tip: If your T50 staple gun does get a jam, the correct way to clear it is with these steps.
No. 1: Remove the pusher rod assembly.
No. 2: Use a screwdriver and pliers to remove the screw and nut.
No. 3: The channel assembly can then be removed and you can clear the jammed staple.

Easy to use and great value

Replaced a staple gun that is 50 years old. The T50 is easy to load and easy to use. Exactly what I wanted and the purchase price was a value.

Helpful tool

This is a quality tool I purchased after returning a cheaper stapler from another company. It is sturdy and well built. I had to go back to the store to figure out how to release the staple holder tray. It is not obvious from the instructions. I used it to successfully upholster the wooden arms of my good office chair. This was my first such project and it turned out good. The only problem was: while working in a tight area at an angle, I was squeezing the stapler and it pinched and bruised my left thumb. I think the instructions need to say to work in a wide open roomy area and keep fingers away from the moving parts which squeeze down.
