I saw the dome for the first time on one of the cooking shows. I watch and I wanted. It so bad because of the bigbasket that you can fit so much and I waited patiently and low and behold it was on sale. I bought it finally and It's all what they say. It is, but it takes a little time to figure out the programming even with the app.. And to get it right so far, I haven't been perfect as far as cooking. Some things were too well done. Some things were too underdone, which I corrected. It takes a little getting used to, but I think\n In a bit, I'll be more comfortable using it. But it is definitely worth it there should be included some sort of recipe, typebook. Or better instructions or somethinot.Everybody is very familiar with air frying and yes it does do a lot more then just air fry but I haven't gotten there yet as far as the other settings
I never used the unit. Even though I measured, it was just too large outside and too shallow inside. Returned.

Best air fryer on the market

I’ve owned a few AF’s and without a doubt the Typhur is in another class altogether. After AFing chicken wings and thighs, wiping the interior with a clean paper towel, the towel comes out without ANYTHING on it. Amazing. Sure, it’s expensive. Anything that’s the best at something, costs the most. Hugely satisfied!!
Love the Typhur Dome air fryer. I researched airfryers a long time after my disappointment with the Ninja air fryer oven which was a disaster to clean. The Typhur is easy to use and super easy to clean.
I replaced my old fryer (6 quart Instant Vortex) with a new one and it stopped working after two weeks. I decided to try Typhur Dome 2 because of some of the features it has. While I do like it, it misses on a few things. First, the depth of the cooking tray is very shallow and there is no interior light so you have to open to check on cooking. I use my air fryer a lot for cooking chicken breast or even a spatchcock chicken. I also have put in thicker cuts of meats and bake potatoes as well. Very limited trying to cook those items. After watching several YouTube’s, my take away is that most cooked chicken wings, and pizza in the Dome 2. I use pizza stones and bake mine in the oven, but did reheat one in the Dome 2..a plus due to the size of the basket. If those two features were present I would give 5 stars. It is also very heavy and I needed to clear a cabinet so I could to take it out to use. Instant replaced my broken unit, so now I am using both!
