Tiny home living convenience

I bought my husband a Typhur as he is a big fan of Guga. We also will be spending time living on the road for the next couple of years in an RV. The Typhur can pull double duty by cooking steaks and pizza. Delicious! Also cleans up so nicely compared to other brands and models. Packs down nicely for transport. Super convenient for tiny home living on the road.

Wish it had a filter concerned about grease

Haven't really had a chance to test all the functions yet but so far it seems to be working well. One thing I did notice off the bat is that the unit has very strong airflow but because of this airflow it also has a tendency to make the kitchen smell like cooking. I am concerned about potential grease in the exhaust air as well as I don't think there is a filter of any sort and I'm not sure how the unit traps grease.

The Typhur Dome 2 replaced a long use Philips Air Fryer. The cooking area of the Typhur is great for getting a crisp crust 12" pizza especially with the lower heating element. Also more area for laying out potatoes or vegetables without having to stir the regularly. Also quiet compared to my prior air fryer.

We absolutely love this appliance. We live in a high end custom home and this is the only appliance we use to make all of our meat. It makes everything taste better. I was never great at making salmon, this makes perfect salmon, lamb, pork belly, beef fat trimmings & hamburgers!

Super fast cooking and perfect everytimeno matter what we cook. Pizza crust had a nice crunch, hot and soft middle. Bacon was perfect. Mozzarella sticks crispy and gooey. I love my Typher Dome!

When I say I love this air fryer! Don’t believe me just see for yourself. Main plus, is it’s free of PFAS’s/Forever Chemicals! My fiancé and I are huge on trying to live a healthy life and it started with what are we putting into our bodies and what are we using to cook our food. But outside of that, I’ve made pizza several times now. Wings, potatoes, toast, you name it! So easy to use, so quiet to the point I wasn’t sure if it was on lol. And I love the app and Bluetooth connection. The only con I have is, I wish you can start the air fryer from your phone, especially when you need to pre-heat for pizza. However, it’s one of the best air fryer I’ve purchased.

I love the look of the Typhur Dome 2 and how well it fits into the corner of my counter. This also gives me a large landing spot when I open the drawer. My previous air fryer was a small 6”x6” drawer, so Dome is 4 times the size, which makes cooking multiple courses at once possible. I’m having a learning curve with the dual heating elements—my previous AF only had one-so I have burned my roasted potatoes twice trying to dial in the time/temp, but my chicken breast was perfectly done and moist. I also used the pizza mode and it delivered the crispiest tavern style pizza.

Cooks well but the grill insert should have a handle to pull it out without tipping the food everywhere. Oh, and the power button which is on all the time is offset. It should be centered.
